I'm a Machine Learning Researcher from New Zealand, currently based in San Francisco. I graduated from the University of Waikato with a B.E. majoring in Software Engineering and an M.S. in Computer Science at New York University on a Fulbright scholarship, focusing on ML applications for the healthcare/biotech sector. I'm now working at Apple in the Health Sensing team, building health-related ML features for the  Watch.

In my spare time I like to take photos and play classical/fingerstyle guitar.
